Menu Plan…

Ok, I’ve tried this before but I swear I will stick to it this time LoL.  Actually I’ve kind of been keeping a menu plan in my head for the last month or more so I will really try to make it official every week by posting here.  Since Scottie cooks dinner the days he gets home first I’m just listing some meals we’ll make each week and we’ll pick one each night.  I’ll also throw in a more involved meal most weeks for Saturdays when we’re both home all day and have more time and help, but not this week.  This Saturday is the St. Patrick’s Day Parade in our town and afterwards we’re going to Darby O’Gills, an Irish Bar/Restaurant where we can get some Irish Delicasies like Shepard’s Pie or Irish Stew, to go with the theme of the day.  Anyway…I digress…back to my menu plan.  So here’s this week’s list…

Sausage, Egg and English Muffin sandwiches (Monday)

Chicken Ceasar Salad

Sloppy Joes

Chicken Parmasean

English Muffin Pizzas

Ok, there it is…let’s see how we do :)!

Ok, per item #005 on my 101 list I’ve decided that Saturdays will now be Photo Saturdays :)!  So here’s my first Photo Saturday photo…

The last time it snowed Scottie and Abbey made a family of snowmen in our backyard…a mama, dada and baby, so I guess they’d had quite enough of snowmen for one season.  Fans of Max and Ruby may recognize Max above!

The Mission:
Complete 101 preset tasks in a period of 1001 days.
The Criteria:
Tasks must be specific (ie. no ambiguity in the wording) with a result that is either measurable or clearly defined. Tasks must also be realistic and stretching (ie. represent some amount of work on my part).
Why 1001 Days?
Many people have created lists in the past – frequently simple goals such as New Year’s resolutions. The key to beating procrastination is to set a deadline that is realistic. 1001 Days (about 2.75 years) is a better period of time than a year, because it allows you several seasons to complete the tasks, which is better for organising and timing some tasks such as overseas trips or outdoor activities.

Yep!  When it rains it pours…I got tagged for the first time last week by Vicki from The Adventures of Bittyman and Ittyboy …Then I got tagged AGAIN by my buddy Suz from A Family Created.  So, here I go…  First the Seven Random Facts Meme from Vicki…

  Here’s how it works:
~Link to the person that tagged you and leave a comment on their blog, so that their readers can visit yours.
~Post the rules on your blog.
~Share 7 random facts about yourself on your blog.
~Tag 7 random people at the bottom of your post, linking to their blog.
~Let each person know by leaving a comment on their blog.

1. I’m allergic to cats…I didn’t find this out until after I got married and we ‘adopted’ two kittens from a litter someone left on my cousin’s doorstep.
2. Everytime I go on vacation I buy a cookbook of foods from that area.
3. I have a relative that died in the World Trade Center on 9/11.  She was a cousin of my Mom’s…I never met her but my Mom knew her well when they were younger.
4. Any round foods I eat I have to eat all around the edges first, then the middle.  That goes for bagels, burgers, Reeses Peanut Butter Cups…anything round.
5. Autumn is my favorite season.
6. I haven’t worn my wedding ring since I was 8 months pregnant with my Daughter ,but I still wear my engagement ring 24/7.
7. My favorite Yankee candle scent is Citrus and Sage.

My friend Suz also tagged me so here’s the answers to her Meme…

Here are the rules:1. You have to post the rules before you give your answers.

2. You must list one fact about yourself beginning with each letter of your middle name. (If you don’t have a middle name, use your maiden name).

3. After you are tagged, you need to update your blog with your middle name and your answers.

4. At the end of your blog post, you need to tag one person for each letter of your middle name. (Be sure to leave them a comment telling them they’ve been tagged and that they need to read your blog for details.)

A- Abbey’s Mom

N-Night Person

N- Nice

I know, I’m lame…but I can’t come up with two good N’s.  Anyway, I’m supposed to tag seven for the first meme and three more for the second one.  Yep…I’m not that popular so I don’t even know 10 bloggers, but I’m going to steal Suz’ idea and tag all my buddy’s, Vicki, Suz, Katie, Kristen, Suzy, Joni, Wanda, Colette, and Sally. I’ll post on our site too!
