This Week's Deals

I haven’t posted a good grocery trip deal in a while and I had a pretty good one this weekend so this seems like a good time.  I didn’t need too much from Shoprite this week, and there didn’t really seem to be too many good deals anyway but the deals they did have were really good. 

Here’s what I got:

Our Shoprite usually puts a full page ad in the Wednesday paper with four or five coupons to get an item for a certain amount, usually under $1.  This week there were four coupons to get Nips, a cantalope, a bag of ravioli and chicken leg quarters for .19.  The Tostistos deal was really good too…if you bought three bags of tortilla chips for $10 you could get two jars of salsa for free, but when I went to get the chips they each had a coupon on the bag for $1 off a jar of salsa for each bag of chips you bought, so in total I spent $8 for all five items.  I wish I’d gone back to do that deal again !  So, it ended up being a  good week at Shoprite afterall,  and next week looks good too since they are having a  ‘Purchase $50 worth of items from this list (Unilever and Betty Crocker…among others, ) and receive a $25 coupon towards next shopping trip.   I’m still trying to figure out my shopping list for that sale.   We shall see…
