My Favorite Irish Movies!

Some of my favorite Irish themed movies…I try to watch most of them around St. Patrick’s Day…

1.  The Quiet Man (definately my favorite of them all…its got it all… romance, a good fight scene, all the old Irish sayings my grandmothers used to say ! ).

2. Far and Away (my second favorite…more romance, more fight scenes LoL).

3. The Mathcmaker (with Janeane Garofalo…I never see it mentioned in the Irish movie lists but its really good)

4. In the Name of the Father (I love almost everything Daniel Day Lewis does).

5. Darby O’Gill and the Little People (I still remember seeing this in the theater when I was about five).

6. Gangs of New York

7. Michael Collins

8. The Englishman who went up a Hill and came down a Mountain

9. Circle of Friends

10. My Left Foot
